Meet Sherry Bowley
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Registered Play Therapist–Supervisor (RPT-S) with extensive training in trauma-informed care and EMDR. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, using evidence-based approaches to support healing, growth, and resilience. My advanced training in play therapy allows me to support children in expressing emotions and navigating challenges in developmentally appropriate ways.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology at Arkansas Tech University in 2009 and earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University in 2013. I am deeply passionate about my work and feel honored to do this each day. I am joined by my highly trained facility dog, Mitchell, whose calm presence helps create a sense of safety and comfort in the therapy space. I also work alongside my husband, Gregory, who serves as my office manager.
Outside of the office, I am very family-oriented and value the importance of connection and balance. I chose to return to school later in life after spending several years at home raising my children, an experience that continues to shape my perspective and deepen my understanding of family dynamics, resilience, and the many transitions individuals and families face.
